  Join us for our monthly literary themed painting taking place here at the Westside branch this Saturday, June 14th, from 2 to 4 PM.  Inspired by Virginia Woolf's literary classic, "A Room of One's Own," we will be holding a special painting in celebration of the extended essay's themes and aesthetic. Painting materials will be provided, and a sample will be on display for inspiration to draw from or emulate. No sign up needed. This event is for ages 15+

  Calling all teens and tweens! As we head into summer, join us for some exciting activities taking place every Thursday at 4:30 PM throughout the month. We'll start things off on June 5th with some exciting video game racing that's sure to get you feeling competitive. Then, on June 12th, we'll let our artistic energy flow with this month's art club. No prior art experience needed! We'll be closed on June 19th in celebration of Juneteenth, but be sure to join us on June 26th for our next book club. Don't have the book yet? Summer Reading Club is officially upon us, and that means we have a range of activities for you to kick off your summer of reading. To start, we'll be hosting a classic car show, complete with food trucks, face painting, a craft buffet, and even a book giveaway. Throughout the month, we'll also host activities including creating your own sun catchers, lip gloss, slime, a custom dollhouse made from shoeboxes, and lastly a CD painting. Plus, as we head into July, we'll end the month with a mid-summer party that's sure to be a blast. Make sure to take a look at the calendar for dates, times, and relevant RSVP information.
