Time for another fantastic Sensory Friendly Craft Hour! Join us here at the Westside branch on Monday, April 21st, as we create colorful sensory rice jars meant to provide a soothing sound that's sure to calm the senses while being shaken. This event is open to all ages while supplies last, and we'll provide everything you need to create your own jar. As always, the craft itself will take place in a calming atmosphere under low lighting. Hope to see you there!

  A new month means another exciting literary-themed painting here at the Westside branch! In celebration of acclaimed poet, Emily Dickinson, this month's painting will be themed around the lyrical poem "Hope is a Thing with feathers." This event  will take place on Saturday, April 5th, from 2 - 4 PM, so be sure to mark your calendars. All materials will be provided, and we'll have a painted sample available for added inspiration as you create your masterpiece. Ages 15+ only. Time to get painting!

April is upon us, and that means we have even more fun programs in store for our Tween & Teen Hangout. We'll kick things off with board games on week 1 to really set the competitive mood with friends. Then on week 2, we'll fire up the video games to really let out bragging rights when it comes to your skills behind a controller. But that's not all! Be sure to join us for Art Club and Book Club during the last two weeks of the month as a nice way to head into May. Be sure to ask at the front desk or give the branch a call to inquire about picking up a copy of this month's book. Hope to see you there!

March was filled with exciting activities during Family and Preschool Story Time!
