Looking to play some fun and exciting games with the family? Join us every Wednesday at 4C's for chess, checkers, cribbage, and cards! No matter what age and skill-level you are, everyone is welcome to participate. And if there's a game you don't know, there's always a staff-member to play with and learn. 4C's has something for everyone to enjoy!

Have you always been interested in learning crochet? Are you already confident in your talent to knit? Yarn Artists is the place for everyone to have fun every Tuesday with the fiber arts, regardless of skill-level! No matter your age, you're always welcome to participate. Just keep in mind that materials are not provided, so you'll have to bring your own before you arrive. Hope to see you there!

Calling all teen and adult painters! For this month's literary-themed painting, we're taking the high seas in celebration of famous American novelist, Herman Melville. Drawing inspiration from "Moby Dick," you'll be able to paint your own whale on canvas! As always, there will be a painting on display to help you if you need ideas for your work. Let your creativity run wild!

Looking for a relaxing environment with ambient music, low lighting, and a fun craft? Join us at our Sensory Friendly Craft Hour! For this month's craft, you'll be able to create your own playdough to take home! Materials are while supplies last, so be sure to arrive as soon as you can. Hope to see you there!

Calling all tweens and teens! Looking for some fun activities to do afterschool? Join us for our August Tween and Teen Hangout, here at the Westside branch! This month's activities include coloring sheets inspired by the magical world of a particularly famous wizard, a Wii Tennis tournament for all of you eager to show us your skills, custom bookmarks using prints from various manga, creating your very own cannon that launches cotton balls, and lastly a relaxing free-range watercolor paining to end the summer in a soothing way. Our hangout has something for everyone!

 

Crafts, dancing, magic, and snacks?! The end of summer bash had it all! Thank you to all the families who attended the bash and made this summer one to remember. And a special thank you to magician, Randy Collins, for the incredible magic show that captivated the entire room!
