Calling all teens! Join us every Thursday at 4:30 PM for a wide range of activities this month, including painting, coloring, planting, and games! Let your creativity loose as we free-range paint on canvases and rocks. Decorate a flower pot however you like, and afterwards fill it with soil and seeds. Grab from our box of colored pencils or markers, and color in some intricate color sheets of your choosing. And join us for relaxing fun with board games, puzzles, and snacks! This month's Teen Hangout offers something for everyone!

Looking for an ambient experience? Wanting to create a unique craft that is just as relaxing as it is fun? Look no further than our Sensory Friendly Craft Hour! Join us on Thursday, May 16th, at 5:30 PM as we dive into each of our five senses. All ages are welcome! This month's craft: kinetic sand.

The Westside Library is pleased to announce our first adult computer class! Serving as an intro to Windows 10, using a mouse and keyboard, and other basics, this class will provide the essentials to become more familiar with navigating a computer. Whether you're completely new to using one, or just need more practice, join us on Monday, May 13th, at 2 PM.

 

Hear-ye, hear-ye! Attention Shakespeare fans! In celebration of the famous playwright's birth month, the Westside Library will be holding a shrew themed painting inspired by Shakespeare's classic comedy, "The Taming of the Shrew." All materials will be provided. This painting event will be held on Saturday, April 23rd at 2 PM for ages 15 and up.

The Westside Library is pleased to announce a new sensory program! All persons are welcome, no matter your age. We will have low light, low volume ambient music, a coordinating coloring page (with your choice of crayons, color pencils, or markers), and a sensory friendly craft.
